As the popularity of big game hunting grows you spot more orange on public lands than animals.
In this environment, animals seek a sanctuary and they find it on the lands operated by Waterdog Outfitters, LLC. We are determined to conserve the population of the herds residing in our area (ie only a limited number of annual hunts) and strive to let younger animals mature so that future hunters will have a chance to find that trophy kill.
Waterdog Outfitters, LLC exists to provide you with unforgettable hunting experiences on stunning terrain in Western Colorado.
We are located in Montrose County (Unit 65) and our hunting grounds consistently host sizable herds of Mule Deer and Elk that pass through the hay fields for food and get water from nearby creeks.
Our grounds currently consist of 2,300 acres of private land surrounded by thousands of acres of public lands.
Waterdog is a registered Outfitter through the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (OUT. 0003557)
